He was trained as an engineer-technician at the Mendeleev Institute of Chemical Technology – a major educational and research center that prepares specialists for the chemical industry. Yevtushenkov Vladimir defended his dissertation in 1973.

Vladimir Yevtushenkov graduated in 1980 from MSU, where he studied economics. He continued working in the chemical industry during this time.

He holds a doctorate in the field of economic sciences.

Thus, a large wood processing plant was created and Sistema’s timber-industry assets were consolidated into a vertically integrated full-cycle holding. The company, formed with the participation of Yevtushenkov Vladimir, harvests timber, makes processed wood products and conducts active reforestation work within a closed production cycle.

Vladimir Yevtushenkov also initiated AFK’s entry into the e-commerce market in 2014. Currently, the corporation owns a stake in one of the largest multi-category online stores in the country and contributes to the development of small and medium-sized businesses by providing manufacturers and sellers access to more than 25 million users of its own platform. As of autumn 2022, the marketplace has registered more than 180,000 sellers of various consumer goods.

Yevtushenkov Vladimir, as a founder of AFK, also helped strengthen its position in the agro-industrial complex. In the mid-2010s, with the assistance of Yevtushenkov Vladimir Petrovich, Sistema consolidated various enterprises to create an agricultural holding. The active implementation of IT solutions in all areas of the holding’s activities has facilitated the dynamic growth of its production and financial indicators.

Yevtushenkov Vladimir Petrovich also helped the corporation create or acquire companies from the biotechnology, commercial real estate, hospitality, and tourism sectors. AFK’s investment portfolio includes assets from about 20 different business spheres.
